Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse is underway, but Hugh Jackman and James Mangold are gearing up for the next instalment of Wolverine’ solo journey.
The Wrap reports that Michael Green has been tapped to write Logan’s third stand-alone film, which the site reports as being titled Wolverine, and that he’ll work with Mangold on the story.
Green recently wrote Blade Runner 2 with Hampton Fancher, to be directed by Denis Villeneuve, and he’s got comic book movie experience having written Green Lantern, but we’ll try not to hold that against him. He also did revisions on Jack Paglan’s script for Prometheus 2 for Ridley Scott.
The untitled Wolverine sequel is released in UK cinemas 2 March 2017. X-Men: Apocalypse will hit cinemas on 27 May 2016. You can buy X-Men: Days Of Future Past on Blu-ray for £9.99 from Amazon.co.uk. Get all the latest superhero news with every new issue of SciFiNow.
