Sad news for Witches Of East End fans, wherever you are: Lifetime has decided to cancel the show after just two seasons.

The series stars Julia Ormond (Sabrina), Mädchen Amick (Twin Peaks), Jenna Dewan Tatum (Step Up) and Rachel Boston (In Plain Sight) as the Beauchamps, a family of middle-class American witches who live in the apparently sheltered town of East End. But it’s not long before the women come up against a string of dark forces and are forced to use their powers to protect the town, their secrets and each other.

Witches Of East End, which has 23 episodes altogether, first aired in the US in 2013 with an average of 1.67 million viewer. That number dropped to 1.13 million for Season 2.

You can buy Witches Of East End Season 1 on DVD for £17.75 from Amazon.co.uk. For more fantasy pick up a copy of the latest issue of SciFiNow.
