After the cultural juggernaut that was Season One —breaking records, spawning TikTok dance tributes, and turning Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams into the ultimate goth icon for a new generation—fans have been salivating for her return. Now, the wait is (almost) over.

This season, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.

Jenna Ortega reprises her role as the deadpan student, joined by returning favourites Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen and Isaac Ordonez. But there are some fresh faces skulking in the shadows too, including Steve Buscemi (Fargo), Billie Piper (Doctor Who), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous) and Thandiwe Newton (Westworld), not to mention a certain Back to the Future legend, Christopher Lloyd.

Behind the scenes, creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return to weave more Addams-family magic, with Tim Burton back in the director’s chair for key episodes.

Wednesday Season Two will launch in two parts on Netflix.  Part 1 launches on 6 August, Part 2 launches on 3 September
