A new trailer for Venom has arrived and if you were feeling like you weren’t being given enough of the alien symbiote, you’re about to get a whole lot.
There’s certainly a lot more wisecracks about eating people than we were expecting, and it’s looking like they’re aiming for dark and gritty…but also funny. We’re still really curious to see how this one turns out, there’s definitely enough talent behind it to make something interesting. Let’s hope that there’s a decent story underneath the quipping and the big monster fights.
Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Jenny Slate, Reid Scott, Scott Haze, and Woody Harrelson. Ruben Fleischer directs and Kelly Marcel wrote the latest draft of the script.
