Venom new trailer is much, much better, actually shows Venom

You should be extremely afraid of Tom Hardy and his new alien symbiote in the significantly improved new Venom trailer

We can safely say that we were all a bit underwhelmed by the first, Venom-less teaser for Venom, but the new trailer is righting some of those wrongs and Tom Hardy is having a brilliant time. Eddie Brock’s new symbiote buddy is definitely on display here…

Obviously, we’ve still got a lot of questions but it’s nice to get a bit more of an idea of what the relationship between Eddie Brock and his new body-partner is going to be like, and to get a better look at some of the excellent supporting cast, like Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate. Of course, we haven’t seen Woody Harrelson yet…

There’s also a new poster (via IMPAwards):

“One of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award® nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.”

Ruben Fleischer directs, and the cast also includes Reid Scott, Scott Haze, and Woody Harrelson, with Kelly Marcel writing the latest draft of the script.

Venom is released on 5 October. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
