The first clips from the upcoming remake of V from ABC have appeared on the internet and are available to view below, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter’s James Hibberd.
The two short segments from the pilot feature Morena Baccarin as Anna, the leader of the Visitors, and Scott Wolf as Chad Decker, an ambitious young journalist who compromises his principles for the scoop of the century.
The pilot was recently given the green light to go to series by ABC, and is based off the Eighties show, which chronicled a human resistance’s struggles against alien invaders who at first profess to be our friends, but have a secret agenda to conquer our planet.
Other actors involved in the series include Alan Tudyk (Firefly), Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) and Laura Vandervoort (Smallville). Jace Hall and Scott Peters serve as executive producers, and Yves Simoneau directed the pilot.
