Popular genre shows Heroes and Fringe have been renewed by their networks Fox and NBC, giving the first solid news on what to expect on our screens come the autumn following The CW’s early announcement of renewals last month.
NBC, however, declined to say what the fate of Medium and Chuck would be, telling reporters that they would be informed on 19 May. Hollywood entertainment journalist Nikke Finke stated over the weekend on her blog that her sources are telling her that Chuck will be renewed for a third outing, but the situation is a little more complicated than a simple yes or no answer.
NBC also picked up Day One, a series that follows a group of people in an apartment block after a catastrophic event ends civilisation as we know it.
