Unfriended: Dark Web trailer and poster looks scary but spoilery

The first trailer for the Unfriended sequel looks promising but should maybe be avoided

As big fans of Blumhouse’s surprisingly good Skype horror Unfriended, we were excited to hear that a sequel is on the way and soon. The first trailer has arrived for Unfriended: Dark Web but we should warn you: it looks like it gives away several key moments, so maybe steer clear of it for now… But here it is.

There’s also a new poster (via IMPAwards) with the excellent tagline “Death wants some face time.” Nice. Nice.

“A teen comes into possession of a new laptop and soon discovers that the previous owner is not only watching him, but will also do anything to get it back.”

Unfriended: Dark Web stars Colin Woodell, Betty Gabriel, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Andrew Lees, Connor Del Rio, Stephanie Nogueras and Savira Windyani. It was written and directed by Stephen Susco.

Unfriended: Dark Web is released on 10 August. Keep up with the latest horror news with the latest issue of SciFiNow.
