A new trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars has arrived, bringing us a new look at the latest chapter in the vampires vs lycans saga and shows off a bit more plot, a few new characters (hello, Lara Pulver!) and more of Kate Beckinsale’s role as Selene.
“The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.”
Beckinsale, Dance and James star alongside Lara Pulver (Sherlock), Tobias Menzies (Game Of Thrones) and Bradley James (Merlin). Cory Goodman (Priest, The Last Witch Hunter) wrote the script, and Anna Foerster (Outlander, Criminal Minds) makes her feature directorial debut. Franchise head honcho Len Wiseman is on board as producer.
