Twin Peaks book will fill in 25 years of missing coffee and pie

Mark Frost is writing a Twin Peaks novel to prepare you for Twin Peaks Season 3

twin-peaksThe 25 year gap between Twin Peaks Season 2 and the recently announced Twin Peaks Season 3 will be filled by a novel, written by co-creator Mark Frost.

The Wrap reports that Frost is writing a book called The Secret Lives Of Twin Peaks, which the publisher Flatiron (a Macmillan subsidiary) says “reveals what has happened to the people of that iconic fictional town since we last saw them 25 years ago,” and give us “a deeper glimpse into the central mystery that was only touched on by the original series.”

If that central mystery they’re referring to is the death of Laura Palmer, what will the novel tell us that Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me didn’t? However, any time spent in the company of the residents of Twin Peaks is time well spent, and every new piece of information surrounding the revival has us giddy with excitement. That gum we like is definitely back in style.

The book will be released in late 2015, while Twin Peaks will hit Showtime in 2016.

You can buy Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery on Blu-ray for £49.70 at Amazon.co.uk.
