Speaking to Collider, Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor revealed that star Tom Hiddleston has been called back to the set for some Loki-centric new scenes in the Marvel sequel.

“We’re doing full scenes… scenes that were not in the movie before,” said Taylor. “We’re adding scenes, creating scenes, writing scenes for the first time.

“It was just we realised how well Loki was working in the movie, and we wanted to do more with him.”

The director also quashed any rumours of a falling out between Marvel and himself over the running time, adding, “I don’t even know what the running time is.”

Thor: The Dark World is in cinemas 30 October 2013. Pick up the first film on DVD for £11.58 or Blu-ray for £18.89 from Amazon.co.uk.
