The saying goes that many hands make light work, and Marvel are clearly putting this to the test, as Stephany Folsom has been brought on board Thor: Ragnarok to as part of its screenwriting team.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Folsom (who previously worked on the 2013 Hollywood Black List script for 1969: A Space Odyssey Or How Kubrick Learned To Stop Worrying And Land On The Moon) has been hired to work on the script previously penned by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle, rather than working directly alongside them. Although we’re not familiar with any of her work, it’s nice to see more female screenwriters being brought on board, following in the tradition of success stories like Guardians Of The Galaxy writer Nicole Perlman, who is currently working on Captain Marvel.
The film is being directed by Taika Waititi, with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander and Mark Ruffalo confirmed to be starring.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released in cinemas on 27 October 2017. You can find out more about the characters and the comics that inspired them by picking up the latest edition of 100 All-Time Greatest Comics.
