The X-Files reboot: David Duchovny could be up for it

David Duchovny has some conditions about bringing Fox Mulder back to The X-Files

Fox MulderWith the X-Files reboot reportedly gathering momentum, David Duchovny has been asked about whether or not he’d want to return to the role of Special Agent Fox Mulder.

Speaking to USA Today, Duchovny said that he is “more than happy and excited to bring it back and do it again with (co-star) Gillian (Anderson) and (series creator) Chris (Carter).”

However, he does point out that it would have to be a limited run rather than a full season. “I’m assuming that it will happen sooner rather than later now. We’ll see what form, how many (episodes). Certainly I can’t nor would I be interested in doing a full season. It will be in some kind of limited form. We’re all old, we don’t have the energy for a full season.”

It’s good to see that he’s up for it, even if he’s imposing a limit. He is busy, we suppose…
