Speaking on Jay Leno about the prospect of a third X-Files movie, former Special Agent Fox Mulder David Duchovny said, “We always want to. [creator] Chris Carter and [Dana Scully actor] Gillian Anderson and I, we’re always on board.”
He then added that if The X-Files‘ rabid fanbase want to see a sequel to 2008’s The X-Files: I Want To Believe, then they should bombard 20th Century Fox with requests.
“You want to write Fox and get ’em going…,” said Duchovny. “You could wheel me [out]. I’ll play Fox Mulder forever.”
