British actor David Morrissey, who SciFiNow readers will remember from a poignant performance in 2008 Doctor Who Christmas special, ‘The Next Doctor’, has joined the cast of AMC’s The Walking Dead, where he’ll be playing the Governor, the big bad who is expected to appear in Season Three.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morrissey will be a series regular, so expect to be seeing a lot of him in the third seasons expanded 16 episodes.
The Walking Dead Season Two is showing now on FX.
