According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Walking Dead executive producer and Terminator and Aliens producer Gale Anne Hurd is developing a series set around the infamous Area 51 airbase for AMC, with a script by The Good Wife‘s Todd E Kessler.
Based on Annie Jacobsen’s best-seller Area 51, which examines local myths and conspiracy theories about downed alien spacecraft and interviews with former servicemen who served on the infamous base in New Mexico, the TV show will follow the men and women who served on the base in the in the Fifties and Sixties, touching heavily on the Roswell crash.
