Listen up UK The Walking Dead fans! It’s been announced that the second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere in June on Sky and streaming service NOW. And that’s not all – to celebrate the news, the opening minutes of the eight-episode second season have been released!

The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Maggie and Negan travelling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.
In season two, in the growing war for control of Manhattan, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.
The series stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan as Negan and Maggie, alongside Gaius Charles (Roswell, New Mexico), Zeljko Ivanek (Let the Right One In TV series), Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon (NCIS: Hawai’i), Lisa Emery (Ozark), Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Dascha Polanco (Orange Is the New Black) and Kim Coates (Van Helsing TV series).
Eli Jorné, who has been a writer and co-executive producer on The Walking Dead for multiple seasons serves as showrunner and executive producer on the series, along with Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead Universe, Cohan, Morgan, Brian Bockrath, Michael Satrazemis and Colin Walsh.
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season Two will be released on Sky and NOW in June.
