Supernatural powers and mysterious memory loss plague a new trailer for sci-fi miniseries The Rook

When Myfanwy Thomas watches herself in a video she can’t remember making things suddenly start to go very wrong in this trailer for Starz’s upcoming supernatural miniseries The Rook:

Here’s the miniseries’ synopsis:

The Rook tells the story of Myfanwy Thomas, a woman who wakes up in London with no memory of who she is and no explanation for the circle of dead bodies around her. When Myfanwy discovers she’s a high ranking official in Britain’s secret service for people with paranormal abilities, she’ll have to navigate the dangerous and complex world of the agency to uncover who wiped her memory and why.

The Rook stars Emma Greenwell as Myfanwy Thomas, Joely Richardson as Lady Farrier, Olivia Munn as Monica Reed, Adrian Lester as Conrad Grantchester, and Jon Fletcher as Alex and Teddy Gestalt.

The series is based on the novel of the same name by Daniel O’Malley. It was originally adapted by Stephanie Meyer before she left the project and Sam Holcroft, Ali Muriel and O’Malley were brought on board to write. Stephen Garratt serves as an executive producer.

Starz has also released some new character posters, which you can view below:
