A sequel to the sci-fi home invasion horror The Purge, starring Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey, is already in the planning stages.
The Wrap found a list of productions approved for California tax credit for shooting in Los Angeles, and Blumhouse Productions’ The Purge 2 was among them. There is currently no further information on the film, and it’s unknown whether writer-director James DeMonaco, Hawke or Headey will return.
