James DeMonaco’s The Purge 2 has announced its cast, with Boardwalk Empire‘s Michael K Williams, Prisoners‘ Zoe Soul and The Grey‘s Frank Grillo signing on.
Deadline reports that they have joined Carmen Ejogo (Away We Go), Zach Gilford (The Vampire Diaries) and Kiele Sanchez (A Perfect Getaway) in the horror sequel which follows on from this year’s low-budget hit, which starred Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey. DeMonaco, who wrote and directed the first film, returns for producer Jason Blum.
