We were very impressed by the first season of The Punisher‘s solo run on Netflix when it hit last month (check out our review here), so we’re pleased to hear that Frank Castle and company will be back for another season.

The first season was very much grounded in the real world with a plot driven by the events in Frank’s past. We noted in our review that it definitely made sense for the show’s first run, but we would like to see some of the…bigger Punisher moments in the second season. At least give him a mob boss to deal with. And hey, we know that Billy isn’t coming back the same…
Really, though, we’re just glad we get to see more of Jon Bernthal’s incredible performance.
