Memorable Supernatural guest star Todd Stashwick and Chicago Fire‘s Alexandra Metz have been added to the cast of The CW’s Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals.
According to Deadline, Metz will play “Katie, a beautiful and mysterious witch with a hidden agenda that will have shocking ramifications for the supernatural community of New Orleans,” while executive producer Julie Plec told Entertainment Weekly that Stashwick would be playing Father Kieran, “a tortured Priest with a dark past.
”Once a powerful and pragmatic diplomat between the humans and the various supernatural factions in New Orleans, he returns home looking for answers about a personal tragedy but finds a very different landscape than when he left.”
The Originals is due to air 3 October 2013 on The CW in the US. The Vampire Diaries Season 4 is out now, get it on DVD for £17.51 from Amazon.co.uk.
