A new poster has arrived for Josh Boone’s horror take on the X-Men, and we are getting very excited about The New Mutants.
This new promo is another callback to Wes Craven’s A Nightmare On Elm Street (we’ve already seen a face pushing through a wall in the teaser), and the whole movie seems to be going for a Dream Warriors tone…And hey, actually, it looks like the bit in Dream Warriors where Freddy shows all the souls in his stomach…Hmm. But hey, “X-Men meets Dream Warriors” is definitely a film we want to see.
The New Mutants stars Alice Braga (Dr Cecilia Reyes), Anya Taylor-Joy (Magik), Maisie Williams (Wolfsbane), Charlie Heaton (Cannonball), Henry Zaga (Sunspot) and Blu Hunt (Moonstar). It was directed by Josh Boone and written by Boone and Knate Lee.
