The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones – starring Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Lena Headey and Aidan Turner – hasn’t even neared release yet, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, a prequel series based on the author Cassandra Clare‘s Infernal Devices has been put into development by Constantin Films with a script by Stephanie Sanditz
Featuring the ancestors of many of the contemporary series’ central characters, Infernal Devices follows a different girl’s discovery of the hidden world of angels, demons and monster hunters against a backdrop of Victorian England.
