The Lego Movie 2 finds a new director

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s replacement is chosen to direct The Lego Movie 2

the-lego-movieFollowing the Oscars, we’ve got Everything Is Awesome back in our heads so it’s only fitting that a director has been found to direct The Lego Movie 2.

THR reports that Rob Schrab will take over directorial duties from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who will still write and produce the sequel. Plot details are currently under wraps.

Schrab has some well established geek cred, having directed episodes of Community (including last season’s awesome ‘GI Jeff’, Parks And Recreation, The Mindy Project, The Sarah Silverman Program and Childrens Hospital. He also co-wrote Gil Kenan’s Monster House.
