Game Of Thrones‘ Rose Leslie has been cast in Vin Diesel’s supernatural action movie The Last Witch Hunter.
THR reports that Leslie, best known for playing Ygritte in the HBO series, will play “a witch and love interest opposite Diesel.”
The film is directed by Breck Eisner, and tells the story of “a semi-immortal witch hunter (Diesel) wandering the streets of modern New York City forced to partner with his natural enemy, a female witch. The two must stop a villainous witch queen from obtaining a relic and unleashing plague upon humanity.”
Eisner most recently impressed with his thoroughly decent 2010 remake of The Crazies, and directed 2005’s forgettable romp Sahara.
