Not only is original Barry Allen John Wesley Shipp back for The CW’s The Flash – this time as Barry Allen’s father, Henry – but another star of the 1990 CBS series has joined this incarnation.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amanda Pays, who played geneticist and main love interest Dr Tina McGee, will be returning in the role of… Dr Tina McGee, this time an employee for STAR Labs’ major rival.
The comic-book McGee was introduced as a supporting character for Allen’s successor and former Kid Flash Wally West in The Flash #3 (1987), turning into a love interest after her husband Jerry became the homicidal Speed Demon following an experiment into Flash’s powers.
