We’re all still very much in mourning for BBC 3’s innovative supernatural drama The Fades, but star Iain de Caestecker continues to make us proud, not only popping up in James Herbert adaptation The Secret Of Crickley Hall, but now he’s been added to the cast of Joss Whedon’s SHIELD TV show.
De Caestecker plays Agent Leo Fitz and relatively newcomer Elizabeth Henstridge plays Agent Gemma Simmons, previously described as a Xander/Willow duo.
“These two came through training together and still choose to spend most of their time in each other’s company,” said the leaked synopsis. “Their sibling-like relationship is reinforced by their shared nerd tendencies – she deals with biology and chemistry, he’s a whiz at the technical side of weaponry.”
