A TV show based on William Friedkin and William Peter Blatty’s classic horror The Exorcist is currently in development.
According to Deadline, production company Morgan Creek, which owns the rights to all things Exorcist, have hired writer Jeremy Slater to create their pitch, which is currently being shown to various networks. If it is picked up, it will join the host of movies being turned into TV shows including Rosemary’s Baby, 12 Monkeys, Jacob’s Ladder and Scream.
