The Crow reboot has gone through another change of directors, as F Javier Gutierrez has dropped out, but what does this mean for star Luke Evans?

Den Of Geek spoke to The Hobbit star, and asked if the long-gestating reboot of Alex Proyas’ cult classic was moving ahead at all.

“It’s not, no. No at the minute The Crow is not, not for me, I think it’s a little… I mean I’m sure it’s going to go ahead at some point, but I have other projects that are greenlit and ready to go and projects that I’m very interested in and you know, I can’t wait much longer! [laughs]”

This statement comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Gutierrez has been replaced by Corin Hardy (courtesy of Deadline). Hardy’s only previous feature film directing credit is the as-yet-unreleased The Hallows.

You can buy The Crow: Special Edition in paperback for £13.59 at Amazon.co.uk. Read more about the comics that inspired the movie with the 100 All-Time Greatest Comics Bookazine.
