The Colossal movie adds Downton Abbey star to cast

He will join Anne Hathaway in Godzilla-sounding monster movie The Colossal

We’ve been intrigued ever since we first heard word of monster movie The Colossal, which will see Anne Hathaway play a down-on-her-luck woman, who discovers that she has a mysterious connection with a monster that is rampaging through the city of Seoul. Now, we’ve got another reason to look forward to it, as Downton Abbey and The Guest star Dan Stevens has joined the cast.

Although the nature of his role hasn’t been confirmed yet, Variety reports that Stevens will be playing one of the main leads alongside Hathaway. Maybe he’s the boyfriend who dumps her, causing her downward spiral? Either way, we’re excited to see how this turns out.
