Steven Spielberg’s film of Roald Dahl’s The BFG has confirmed an excellent supporting cast to join Mark Rylance in the title role, and Ruby Barnhill as Sophie.
The great Penelope Wilton (Shaun Of The Dead, Downton Abbey) will play the Queen, while the consistently excellent Rebecca Hall (The Prestige, Transcendence) has been cast as her maid Mary.
Additionally, brilliant comedians Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live, The Skeleton Twins) and Jemaine Clement (Flight Of The Conchords, What We Do In The Shadows) have been confirmed as playing giants, along with Michael David Adamthwaite, Daniel Bacon, Chris Gibbs, Adam Godley, Jonathan Holmes, Paul Moniz de Sa and Olafur Olaffson.
