The ABCs Of Death, the anthology horror film with 26 ways to die, is getting a sequel.

Variety reports that Magnet announced the follow-up at Cannes, and report that Álex de la Iglesia (The Last Circus), Rodney Ascher (Room 237) and animator Bill Plympton are already on board. Producer Ant Timpson told them that “This time around we’re all determined to expand the concept to even more hyperkinetic, comically deranged and mortally dizzying heights of how someone can shuffle off this mortal coil.”

The first film presented 26 visions of death from directors from around the world, including Adam Wingard, Ben Wheatley, Xavier Gens, Nacho Vigalondo, Timo Tjahjanto, Ti West and Angela Bettis. It’s probably a safe bet that some will return, though none have been announced yet.

The ABCs Of Death will be released on 3 June. You can buy it on Blu-ray for £10.25 and on DVD for £9.50 at Amazon.co.uk.
