Terra Nova contains dinosaurs that “didn’t really exist”

Speilberg’s time travel drama breaks with facts

According to consultant Palaeontologist Jack Horner, who previously worked with Steven Spielberg on the three Jurassic Park films, the director’s latest prehistoric caper, Terra Nova, will feature dinosaurs designed especially for the show.

“I had a little input with the story – not very much but just to make sure the accurate parts were accurate – and then I worked a lot with the artists because we were creating a lot of dinosaurs that didn’t really exist”, Horner explained, “so they had to at least look like they were related to something that could have existed. I go to LA once in a while and work with the artists, but most of it’s been done over the computer.”

There’ll be more on Terra Nova in future issues, stay tuned!
