As you can see from the poster (from Deadline), 11 directors have signed on to deliver seasonal shorts. SlashFilm confirmed that the directors are Neil Marshall (The Descent, Dog Soldiers), Darren Bousman (Saw II, Repo: The Genetic Opera), Joe Begos (Almost Human), Axelle Carolyn (Soulmate), Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons), Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy) and John Skipp (Stay at Home Dad), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!), Dave Parker (The Hills Run Red), Ryan Schifrin (Abominable), and Paul Solet (Grace).
SlashFilm notes that it was Carolyn who came up with the concept (not a surprise if you’e seen her short film The Halloween Kid), and that “All of the interconnected segments will take place during Halloween night in one quiet American town. Well, one typically-quiet American town. On this particular evening it’s being terrorized by all manner of horrifying creatures, from ghouls and aliens to good-old-fashioned murderers.” Shooting begins in November.
With an interesting mix of directors and a promising concept, this looks like it could be a lot of fun.
