Season 8 spoilers ahead!
As if it we were already giddy enough after E4 announced it had acquired Supernatural Season 9 earlier this week, they’ve gone ahead and confirmed an air date for the premiere.
The first episode of Season 9 – titled “I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here” – is due to air at 10pm on Tuesday 6 January, immediately after The 100 Season 2 UK premiere.
But don’t get too excited: Season 8 ended on quite the downer. Sam Winchester almost died after completing the third demon trial, Castiel became human after losing his grace, and the angels fell from heaven. As is Supernatural fashion, Season 9 is sure to be a lot more painful.
