Well, it’s another day closer to Supergirl‘s debut on The CW, and while the big selling point has been known for a long time, it’s still great to see Superman in action on the small screen once again.
While the below teaser doesn’t tell us a huge amount aside from how the cousins will come to team up (it’s the age-old comic-book trope of rescuing a faltering spaceship), it does hint at a new direction for the show, with Kara (Melissa Benoist) finally getting to work alongside Kal-El (Tyler Hoechlin). Things should get interesting.
Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood and Calista Flockhart will all reprise their roles from Season 1, and will be joined by newcomers Tyler Hoechlin, Lynda Carter and Katie McGrath.
