We love Turbo Kid with all our hearts, so while we’re waiting for that sequel we are very excited to find out what the RKSS team has got in store for us with retro horror Summer Of 84. The movie’s playing at FrightFest later this summer, but in the meantime, here’s the trailer…
“Summer, 1984: The perfect time to be 15 years old and free. But when neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong begins to suspect his police officer neighbor might be the serial killer all over the local news, he and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon turns dangerous.”

The film stars Graham Verchere, Judah Lewis, Caleb Emery, Cory Gruter-Andrew, Tiera Skovbye and Mad Men‘s Rich Sommer as the creepy cop next door…
RKSS are Francois Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell. The film was written by Matt Leslie and Stephen J Smith.
No UK release date for Summer Of 84 has been confirmed but it’s playing at Arrow Video FrightFest and you can find ticket information here.
