We’re really excited to see what True Detective director Cary Fukunaga does with Stephen King’s It, and it looks like it’s finally getting ready to go.

Production Weekly‘s update (via Arrow In The Head) states that it will start filming in June in New York.

There’s still been no word about casting, although the director has said that finding the perfect Pennywise has been extremely difficult (Tim Curry’s nightmare inducing act will be tough to follow), and producer Seth Grahame-Smith has been throwing words like “viciousness” and “very scary” around.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this for a long time and we can’t wait for it to get started.
