Well that just looks bloody terrifying. While we’d already got a glimpse of Bill Skarsgård in character as Pennywise the clown from next year’s big-screen remake of Stephen King’s It, now the camera has panned out to give us a close-up.
Replacing his dancing clown garb is an altogether more medieval affair, replete with a thick collar, tights and frills. You won’t be laughing at him though. Oh no.
Skarsgård joins a cast that already includes the likes of Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Owen Teague, Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff and Jeremy Ray Taylor, with Andrés Muschietti directing from a script penned by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer.
It will be released in cinemas on 8 September 2017. You can download Stephen King: The Complete Manual from GreatDigitalMags.com. For all the latest movie news, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
