The first still from 11/22/63 has arrived, giving us our first look at the Bad Robot and Hulu show based on Stephen King’s time travelling novel about a man who goes back in time to try to stop the JFK assassination, before getting a lot more involved than he should.

EW (via Collider) debuted this look at stars James Franco and Sarah Gadon as time-hopping teacher Jake Epping and Sadie Dunhill. The eight episode show also stars Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel Cherry Jones, George MacKay, Lucy Fry, and TR Knight.

Parenthood and Friday Night Lights veteran Bridget Carpenter is writing the JJ Abrams-produced series, and the first two episodes are directed by The Last King Of Scotland‘s Kevin Macdonald.
