The eagerly anticipated and controversial third television series in the Stargate franchise, Universe, is set to debut tonight at 8pm on Sky1 in the United Kingdom, having aired on Syfy in the United States last Friday. SciFiNow will bring you our thoughts on the latest instalment in the series immediately after transmission, but for now, we’ve been provided with two clips to share with you by Sky, which are embedded below.
Stargate Universe stars Robert Carlyle, Brian J Smith, Alaina Huffman and David Blue among others. The series revolves around a group of survivors from an attack on an Earth base who find themselves stranded billions of light years from Earth, aboard an Ancient vessel that is travelling the Universe on autopilot. Unfortunately, the vessel is in a state of disrepair, and the new crew immediately find themselves confronted with a lack of basic necessities crucial to survival.
