Speaking to The Playlist, Byzantium, How I Live Now and rumoured frontrunner for everything Saoirse Ronan confirmed her audition for Star Wars: Episode VII was just an audition, adding that she wasn’t successful.
“I don’t have Star Wars,” confirmed Ronan. “I don’t have the role. I just shouldn’t have said anything. I just auditioned for it, like everyone else did.”
She also took the chance to debunk rumours that she’s signed up to play Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, in Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot.
“I only heard that rumour. I’m not signed up for Fantastic Four.”
