Rumours that GI Joe: Retaliation director Jon M Chu is up for the role of director on the JJ Abrams-produced Star Trek 3 have been resoundingly debunked, with his representatives telling The Huffington Post, “Chu has not been contacted about the project.”
Cinemetallica on the other hand claim that Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes director Rupert Wyatt is “virtually a lock at this stage in the game”.
