Clark and Lois become co-hosts on the television show Good Morning Metropolis. However, with a blind date-related news task at hand, Clark can’t stop worrying about the Kandorians. Meanwhile Oliver takes a super-powered girl named Mia under his wing. During Tess’s pitch for a solar tower, Zod enters and declares he is now the chair for RAO Corporation. Tess tries to strike a bargain with Zod but is unsuccessful. Despite catching Mia attempting to steal from him, Oliver sticks by her. Oliver and Lois go on a blind date, for the purpose of the story, and it is here he realises she loves Clark. As the two walk down an alleyway they are attacked by Mia’s former pimp, Rick. Clark comes to the rescue and stops Rick. Tess, still annoyed that Zod won’t accept her as a partner, finally relents and tells him where the Blur is. Oliver forgives Mia for her past mistakes and as the episode closes Clark and Lois share a kiss.
