tron-1-1024CC2k has posted the first script review of Disney’s upcoming sequel/remake of Tron. For fear of offending countless of our valued website users, though, we won’t make reference to any of the details in this post.

Instead, here’s a list of the non-spoilery things we know about Tron 2:

It’s directed by Joseph Kosinski, the man responsible for the Halo 3 and Gears Of War adverts.

Lost’s Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are credited as writers for the new film.

Disney’s John Lasseter has reportedly overseen the project.

The film has been shot in super-duper stereoscopic 3D.

Steven Lisberger, director of the original movie, returns as a producer.

Chris Pine was considered for the lead role.

Jeff Bridges returns to reprise his role from the first film.

The movie will also star Garrett Hedlund, Bruce Boxleitner, Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett, Karl Urban and John Hurt.

The teaser shown at last year’s E3 was in fact mere test footage and won’t appear in the final cut.

Daniel Simon will be responsible for designing the new-look lightcycles.
