The list of directors for The ABCs of Death 2 has been announced, including American Mary‘s Jen and Sylvia Soska, Wendigo‘s Larry Fessenden, Cube‘s Vincenzo Natali, Cold Fish‘s Sion Sono, The Collection‘s Marcus Dunstan, and Inside‘s Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo.
According to Fearnet, the directors also include the previously announced Álex de la Iglesia, Rodney Ascher, Bill Plympton, as well as Kristina Buozyte and Bruno Samper (Vanishing Waves), Erik Matti (On the Job), E.L. Katz (Cheap Thrills), Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado (Rabies), Julian Gilbey (A Lonely Place to Die), Dennison Ramalho (Ninjas), Jerome Sable (The Legend of Beaver Dam), Lancelot Imasuen, and animator Robert Morgan. As with the previous film, a director will be chosen via a competition.
It’s another formidable line-up of international horror auteurs, and doesn’t include any of the previous directors as we had previously assumed.
