The fate of Sleepy Hollow is far from certain as a third season has yet to be ordered amid plummeting ratings and unhappy fan responses. Now, it’s going to need a new showrunner.
TVLine reports that Mark Goffman, who ran the supernatural hit for its blockbusting first and lacklustre second seasons, is stepping away from Sleepy Hollow, and that the hunt is on for a replacement. It’s vital that a new showrunner be found quickly if a case is going to be made for a Season Three, which the site describes as “far from a sure thing.”
