Syfy has released key art for its upcoming Stargate SG-1 spin-off Universe, and the UK air date for the series has been revealed, according to the Daily Record and Sci-Fi Wire.
The series will premiere on Sky One on 6 October 2009, four days after the US air date. Stargate series have always had a relatively similar airing schedule for both sides of the Atlantic so this news comes as no real surprise, but it is good to have confirmation nevertheless.
Meanwhile, Syfy’s news service has put the first one-sheet for the show online, which we’ve included below.
Stargate Universe stars Robert Carlyle, Lou Diamond Phillips and Elyse Levesque among others. The series is the third in the Stargate SG-1 television franchise, which in itself was a spin-off from the 1994 film starring Kurt Russell and James Spader.
