Avatar and Terminator Salvation star Sam Worthington is rumoured to be in line to play the lead in Warner Bros.’ long-mooted Clash Of The Titans.
It is likely Worthington will play Perseus in the Louis Leterrier-directed remake of the 1981 movie, which is famous for its stunning Ray Harryhausen effects. Stop motion animation, though, won’t be used this time; instead the film is expected to employ the same greenscreen technique as was used for Zack Snyder’s 300.
Lawrence Kasdan wrote the script, and production is expected to begin early next year.
